Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager this is a standout opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant seeking real ownership, visibility, and impact within a large multinational organisation.
You will sit at the center of the financial reporting function, taking end-to-end ownership of core accounting processes while playing a key role in strengthening controls, enhancing reporting quality, and supporting ongoing business initiatives.
  • Lead month-end close activities including preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial reports with detailed variance analysis and clear commentary to support decision-making
  • Ensure financial records and reporting comply with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal control frameworks
  • Support external and internal audits, including preparation of working papers and compliance documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts across multiple entities within the group
  • Partner with cost centre owners and operational stakeholders to provide insights, resolve queries, and explain variances
  • Maintain strong data integrity across financial systems, ensuring accurate reporting and consistent use of controls
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting quality, and efficiencies within the finance function

You will have an excellent technical accounting base with a proven ability to handle a varied workload. It is also essential that you are able to engage and influence key stakeholders across all levels with your first class communication skills. To succeed, you will have an ability to balance your detail-driven personality with the capacity to understand the bigger picture. 
  
Other requirements include: 
  • CA qualified or working towards
  • Circa 2-3yrs experience in a complex corporate environment
  • Big 4 / Mid-Tier is highly desirable
