The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, this hands-on Financial Accountant role will see you take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, month-end processes, and supporting key commercial and operational decisions through insightful analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management and financial reports for group entities
  • Manage month-end processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
  • Complete and lodge BAS, PAYG, and other statutory returns
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Partner with operations to provide financial insights and cost analysis
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls
  • Support external audit and tax compliance requirements
  • Oversee payroll and assist with compliance reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
The Candidate
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role within FMCG, manufacturing, or a product-based environment
  • Strong understanding of management reporting, compliance, and cost accounting principles
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., MYOB, SAP, or similar)
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across finance and operations
