Reporting to the Finance Director and working within a team of talented finance professionals within the business you will be responsible for providing a range of accounting functions, primarily focused on financial & and management functions. You will work closely with other members in the accounting team and broader business with a collaborative approach to achieving financial reporting outcomes. You will engage regularly with stakeholders and as a result the role is primarily office based in a brisbane suburb.
Key Responsibilities
- Month end close tasks, ensuring close and reporting timeframes are adhered to
- Preparation of monthly P&L accounts with commentary around variances
- Assist with statutory reporting including BAS, FBT, PAYG
- Consolidation
- Prepare profitability reports
- Analyse and perform balance sheet reconciliations, validating and suggesting remediations
Skills and Experience
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Detail oriented with high energy levels and a

- Proven track record in a financial accounting role within a commercial environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
