The Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for (but not limited too):
  • General Ledger & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Ensure the general ledger is accurately maintained. Conduct thorough monthly balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards
  • Journal Entries, Financial Reporting, & Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries for accurate month-end closing
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Oversee and streamline the month-end close process, including reconciliations and analysis of accounts
  • Tax Reporting and Returns: Prepare and file timely and accurate tax returns, including income, sales, and use tax filings
  • Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
The Successful application will have:
  • Strong experience in a similar, financial accountant role within a large, fast-paced work environment - ideally global, multinational or ASX listed enterprises 
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards it
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - ability to influence, impact and negotiate 
  • Strong Excel skills
