The responsibilities
- Responsibility for ensuring daily/weekly bank reconciliations are prepared and efficiently cleared
- Administration of capex management process including monthly capitalisations and capex reporting
- Regional recharge journal & associated invoices
- Responsible for Motor vehicle lease management, liaising with employees with packaged vehicles and being the first point of contact with leasing company
- Prepare ABS Surveys
- Assistance with indirect tax preparation i.e. GST (BAS), FBT and payroll tax
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries
- Reconcile GL intercompany payable accounts to confirmations from counterparties and prepare appropriate journals
- 3+ Years experience in a similar role with a Big 4 firm
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of processing/reporting
- Ability to understand key business drivers and Network across functions/departments
