With a legacy of compassion, service, and dedication, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join this for-purpose organisation in an immediately available temporary role with a view to permanency
The Role
Reporting to the CFO this role is responsible for the oversight and management of the finance function for the organisation and other specific related entities. This encompasses:
- General Ledger integrity & control, including month end and reconciliation, and 1st level reporting
- Management of transactional processes and continuous improvements and efficiencies
- Treasury and cash management
- Corporate Finance analysis
- Statutory compliance (Audit, ATO) and risk management (insurance, systems of control)
- Stewardship of organisation's assets and liabilities
- Leadership of accounting and transactional staff and driving a positive culture and strong staff engagement
CA / CPA qualified, you will be an experienced and technically strong finance leader having led a team before as a Financial Controller/Finance Director/Head of Finance/GM of Finance preferably in a not-for-profit or purpose driven organisation. You will enjoy building broad relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
