Our client is a rapidly retail business with large growth plans for the future in a large growth corridor. The Financial Controller role will manage the day to reporting function including its BI suite of tools and play a key part working with the executives to help the organisation thrive.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for leading the finance function and partnering with the executive team to provide strong technical expertise and advice.
- Set up and implement reporting structures
- Create and manage the reporting infrastructure for the business as it relates to BI, data extract and financial management reporting for the Group
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
- Tax and treasury obligations
- Support the CEO, CFO and wider finance team with process improvement opportunities
- Update and upgrade IT systems
- Assess and analyse expansion opportunities
- Manage the finance team
- Ad hoc projects
You will have extensive experience as a Finance Manager / Financial Controller with CA / CPA qualifications. You will have experience in a large and complex environments and an ability to work autonomously. You will enjoy managing staff and building meaningful relationships across the organisation.
