This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing FP&A / commercial function - in a fast growing Australian consumer goods organisation. It is a key business partner role, and a rare opportunity for an up and coming finance candidate to transition into the FP&A space.
Responsibilities:
- Business partner across the organisation - particularly with operations
- Monthly profit estimates
- Work closely with Finance team and external stakeholders to own and manage ongoing forecasting
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to manage budget and forecast development and process
- Drive efficiencies in our systems and processes, exploring initiatives to eliminate manual or redundant tasks
- Development and ongoing maintenance of reporting templates in Excel and data models
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
