About the Role
As the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of the organisation’s financial planning function, with a key focus on high-impact modelling, forecasting, and decision-support analytics.
This is a pivotal role in which your models and insights will directly influence business strategy, deal structuring, capital allocation, and shareholder value creation. You’ll design and operate complex financial models that not only support business planning but also unlock new opportunities and mitigate risks across the enterprise.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning cycles, optimise resource allocation, and support initiatives that align with both commercial goals and long-term investment strategies.

In this role, you will:
  • Consolidate and analyse financial and operational data across projects, business units, and corporate functions
  • Prepare and deliver accurate reports, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analysis
  • Partner with accounting teams to ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting and insights
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations that inform strategic decision-making
  • Support business cases, scenario planning, and long-term financial strategy development
  • Design and manage detailed financial models to assess development, investment, and strategic opportunities
  • Evaluate a range of financial scenarios to support risk management and commercial outcomes
  • Streamline planning and reporting processes through automation and financial tool development
  • Champion data accuracy and consistency across all financial systems and tools
  • Leverage BI and AI platforms to visualise data, identify trends, and highlight performance improvement areas
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to internal stakeholders, communicating insights with clarity and impact
  • Align financial planning with broader business goals through effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance finance function
  • Stay current with industry trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You bring a commercial mindset, a sharp analytical eye, and a passion for creating structure and clarity from complex financial data. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, you balance strong attention to detail with a broader understanding of business strategy and capital management.
You are highly collaborative, able to influence non-finance stakeholders, and bring a strong sense of ownership to your work. Your ability to build robust models, challenge assumptions, and communicate insights with clarity will be key to your success.

Qualifications & Experience
Originally out of Big 4, you will have worked in a well known and reputable orgnaisation in a commercial role. You will also have / be
  • CA, CPA or CFA qualified (or near completion)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Strong systems knowledge and experience with BI tools
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and agile environment
