Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be a member of the AUNZ Finance Leadership Team, working in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and collaborating across the broader finance and commercial networks in the European and North Asian regions at General Mills.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead a High-Performing Team – Coach and guide three Senior Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Be a Trusted Business Partner – Work closely with ANZ commercial leaders to provide financial insight and shape strategic decisions.
- Own the Numbers – Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support business objectives.
- Track & Improve Performance – Monitor KPIs, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver Strategic Insights – Support investment decisions and scenario planning with deep financial analysis.
- Streamline & Innovate – Drive process improvements and leverage tech to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure Financial Integrity – Uphold compliance and strong internal controls.
- Tackle Ad-Hoc Challenges – Respond to senior leadership requests with sharp, data-led insights.
- CA/CPA
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar; postgrad (MBA/CPA/CA) preferred
- 8–10+ years in FP&A, including 3–5 in leadership
- Proven people leader with a track record of building high-performing teams
- Strong grasp of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills; ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) a plus
- Clear, confident communicator across all levels
- Sharp analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Adaptable, collaborative, and thrives in fast-paced environments
- Experience in a multinational setting, ideally in ANZ markets
