We are seeking someone confident, emotionally mature, and resilient — someone who will not be overwhelmed by volume and who can take ownership of the role with professionalism and care.
You will not be thrown in immediately - structured training and mentoring will be provided.
Hours & Remuneration
- Monday–Friday: 8:42am – 5:00pm
- Some overtime required for after-hours work
- Weekend funerals by appointment (expectation to assist on some Saturdays as rostered every 5 weeks)
- $36+ per hour + Super
- On-call allowances + overtime payments
- 4 weeks annual leave
- Additional 5 days recreational leave accrued over time
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with families to arrange funeral services with empathy and professionalism
- Coordinate all aspects of services including venues, celebrants, coffins, vehicles, flowers, music, livestreaming, and notices
- Manage contracts, documentation, and payments accurately
- Clearly explain professional fees and service options
- Handle walk-in and ad hoc client enquiries
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively within a strong, personality-driven team
- Take ownership of errors and resolve matters transparently
