About the Position
Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager Corporate Services will oversee the organisations business services and enabling functions. This will include ensuring the delivery of effective corporate services which foster employee productivity and wellbeing combined with implementing sound governance around compliance and risk. Your portfolio will include overseeing Assets & Maintenance, Information Technology, Finance, Organisational Learning and Development, Quality, Risk & Safety and People Services. These functions will heavily influence how Guide Dogs Queensland’s financial and other resources are deployed for maximum impact in support of the organisation’s strategy.
About the Person
We are seeking a highly collaborative professional with previous experience leading multi-functional teams in either a healthcare, not-for profit or human services environment. You will have demonstrated capability in driving positive cultural change and employee engagement at an organisational level and previously implemented data driven insights to aid in improved commercial and financial decision making. Prior knowledge of supporting and advising Boards in matters relating to governance, compliance and risk will be highly regarded. A tertiary degree in a professional services field combined with high levels of emotional intelligence is considered essential.
