About the role
This is a newly created, senior leadership position reporting directly to the Founder. As the Head of Finance and Corporate Services, you’ll oversee and lead a broad portfolio across Finance, HR, Compliance & Risk, Technology and Business Operations.
You’ll lead a capable, cross-functional team and work closely with senior stakeholders to uplift internal capability, enhance decision-making, and enable commercial performance.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Overseeing corporate services functions with a focus on operational excellence and scalability
- Delivering high-quality commercial and board reporting
- Championing governance, compliance and business risk frameworks
- Leading and mentoring a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
- Supporting systems and process improvement across all corporate functions
About you
You’re an experienced and hands-on finance and corporate services leader, with a commercial mindset and a passion for building high-performing teams. You balance strategic thinking with the ability to drive outcomes at pace and are confident influencing senior stakeholders.
Ideally, you will bring:
- 5+ years’ senior finance or corporate services leadership experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Experience in a fast-paced, services-led or consulting environment
- A collaborative leadership style and strong team management capability
- Strength in commercial reporting, risk management, and operational improvement
- Newly created role with real scope and influence
