The Head of FP&A is a key leadership position partnering directly with senior management. Managing a small team, this role will partner with a range of business units to provide decision support, analysis, and insights to support the executive team in achieving their strategic ambitions. This role will be responsible for the reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering to ensure accuracy across the P&L.
Duties
- Lead a small team to drive the FP&A function with P&L ownership
- Contribute to decision making through insights and analysis of key performance drivers
- Lead the annual budget planning, monthly forecast recommendations, and long-term strategic planning
- Business Partner with key divisions to build business plans and strategies
- Influence senior management with the identification of risks and opportunities
- Prepare timely and accurate management reports
- Drive process improvement in the finance reporting function
- Encourage continuous improvement, automation, and implement best practices
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a high performing team
- CA / CPA / CIMA Qualified
- 5+ years Commercial / FP&A Manager level experience
- Excellent communication to liaise with a broad audience
- Retail, e-comm, retail manufacturing background preferred
- SQL experience preferred
- Strong analytics skills interpreting data and providing recommendations
- Advanced leadership, coaching, mentoring and development skills
