About the Role
This is an exciting Head of Membership and Engagement opportunity with a Leading Globally Recognised Professional Services Brand.
Your core focus will be to drive acquisition of new members, retain and engage existing members and decrease membership churn while providing a world-class membership and engagement experience.
Another key focus is on team leadership. You will model, nurture and mentor a large team harnessing both their collective and individual skills so that they reach their potential. You are a multiplier and connector of people and you thrive in an environment where you challenge your people to step outside their comfort zone and grow!
Reporting to the General Manager of Sales, Engagement and Marketing, they are looking for someone with a positive, curious and hungry mindset to come in and hit the ground running in a fast-paced and ever changing dynamic environment.
The Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the entire membership and engagement strategy partnering collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation such as marketing, finance, sales and operations.
- Provide relevant insights to the Acquisition, Relationship, and Retention teams using market intelligence and trends with a test and learn methodology.
- Engage and collaborate with marketing to understand and prioritise marketing drives, initiatives and collateral to create interest and demand.
- Oversee budgets in order to deliver on growth and retention targets and objectives.
- Lead, develop and coach your team members that enhance their capability and performance
- A proven track record in a similar senior leadership position across sales, marketing, membership and engagement.
- A strong corporate background with big brand experience in the B2C or B2C services space.
- A strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of growth
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or similar is highly desirable.
- Proven experience running large teams
- Omni-channel customer experience and experience in regards NPS and improving the overall customer experience.
- Ability to build effective relationships, engage positively with stakeholders, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve challenges
- Experience working within online mediums, including web-chat and social media to build customer connections.
- A positive, pro-active, collaborative, curious and hungry mindset to come in, hit the ground running and make things happen
