The Position 

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work as part of a tight-knit HR team to provide trusted and expert partnering with your key stakeholders for the Australian arm of the business. You will provide Health and Injury services to divisional and other business leaders to support the needs of the business. 
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting health, safety & wellbeing risks, incidents and near misses
• Following all applicable health, safety & wellbeing instructions, policy and procedures
• Managing the Workcover Insurance Programme:
• Ensuring appropriate training on Workcover processes and incident reporting.
• Being an endorsed Return to Work Coordinator.
• Liaising with our Workcover agent to ensure that our claims management is compliant and deliver good service to our team members.
• Monthly and annual reporting of our injury management performance and claims experience.
• Implementing injury management processes including early intervention and injury minimization
• Providing expert injury management advice, education and support to team members and leaders.
• Proactively working with our team, agent and health professionals to get good treatment strategies in place.
• Developing a gradual return to work plans to ensure a safe and sustainable return to work and compliance with legislation.
• Monitoring team member participation in rehabilitation
• Supporting return to work options for team members following illness and non-work-related injuries.
• Understanding the impact of Workcover premiums.
• Managing and delivering project work such as reviewing self-insurance options.
• Identifying, implementing, and monitoring various wellbeing initiatives.
