Job Responsibilities of HRIS Manager
Reporting directly into the Director of Payroll Services, you will mentor and lead the HRIS Application Support Team. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Oversee and maintain all HRIS modules including HR, Recruitment,
    Payroll and Rostering
  • Ensure HRIS modules are supported in accordance with defined service
    levels
  • Oversee system devolvement, ensure system documentation is
    maintained, including change control and system configuration
    procedures
  • Maintains application business data in accordance with legislation,
    employment conditions and organisational needs
  • Creating and maintaining reports, development of new reports as
    required
  • Escalation point for customer inquiries and complaints
  • Provide support to the Manager of Payroll Operations & Payroll Team in
    ensuring that the fortnightly payroll is processed in a timely manner
  • Ensures open communication channels with the HRIS Vendors on support needs and change requests for all modules
  • Proactively identifies and recommends opportunities to further use and/or better use of HRIS & Rostering applications
  • Preparation of end of month payroll reporting
  • Other duties as required
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience with the following:
  • Leadership experience within a medium or large sized business where you have overseen a Payroll and/ or HRIS function
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS processes and procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of Awards, EBA’s & Legislation
  • Understanding of the impact of legislative changes, systems development and management practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of the organisation structure and business / position relationships
  • SAP, SuccessFactors and/or UKG experience is highly beneficial
