About the Role:

Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join their friendly finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable and receivable functions, income reconciliations, and liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial processing. Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable
  • Receive and process invoices from multiple venues.
  • Process weekly invoices every Wednesday and monthly invoices as required.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies directly with suppliers.
Accounts Receivable
  • Receive and process debtor paperwork from venues.
  • Process debtors on a monthly basis.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely receipts.
Income Reconciliation
  • Accurately process income into the system.
  • Investigate and reconcile unusual or outstanding transactions.
General
  • Collaborate effectively within the accounts team.
  • Manage accounts for a number of hospitality venues.
  • Communicate regularly with venue managers and liaise with other departments.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met in line with business requirements.

About You:

  • Either a graduate with an Accounting qualification (Certificate, Diploma and/or Degree) OR previous experience across accounts payable and/or receivable.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
