About the role:
This particular firm are currently looking for a Lawyer (2-4 years’ PQE) to join their well regarded Development team led by an experienced Partner.
The Development practice is one of the pre-eminent property practices in Victoria (with a team consisting of over 50 people, including six Partners). This practice work and collaborate with other sections of the firm, in order to provide end to end legal advice in the property development cycle.
The team prides itself on being able to assist leading developers (both listed and private) by providing outstanding and commercial legal advice in each step of the development process (from acquisition to delivery), and has an in-depth understanding of the industry. The team is actively involved in industry associations and assisting clients manage the ever changing legal framework surrounding developments.
About you:
Some of the skills and experience you need to help you succeed in this role are:
- Have 2-3 years’ experience in property law specifically within property development;
- Be passionate about property and committed to moving into a property development focused role with the ability to become involved in all aspects of the development cycle and in project delivery in the residential, commercial/retail and industrial sectors;
- Strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment in a large team.
