Our client are leading high end residential builder that deliver custom architecturally designed homes across Melbourne's Inner city suburbs. They have been established for over 15 and have won numerous awards for delivering high end architectural homes up to $15 mil. Due to an increase of projects starting in 2022, they are seeking a Leading Hand/foreman to join their business. This is a great opportunity to work on high end projects with a well known building brand and progress your career toward Site Management.
 
Reporting to a Head Site Manager you will be responsible for the following
 
- To be able to provide trade guidance and assistance to internal carpentry team as well as greater subcontractor team
- The ability to read project documentation, setout work and display expert workmanship completing work
- Demonstrate ability to take whole or part supervisory role of Foreman as delegated or in absence
- To thoroughly understand and implement quality control techniques and safety measures
- To forecast works and schedule trades and materials
 
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified carpenter and have worked on custom high end residential projects. You will have an eye for detail and be able to work effectively with sub contractors, internal staff and consultants. You must have excellent communication skills and have a strong work ethic
