Overview

Sharp and Carter are working with a global B2B product supply business based in south Brisbane to find an M&A Integrations Manager.

Role

The Post Merger Integration Manager will have an integral role in delivering the expected synergies, ensuring our acquisitions receive the necessary support from our divisional teams and infrastructure as well as help scale the capabilities acquired at an Asia-Pacific level.
 
Role Details
    
Develop the integration strategy, set integration guiding principles and act as a leader of the vision of the integration and program management
 
Lead programs across Finance, HR, Procurement, Customer Experience, Digital, IT, Sales and Logistics related topics
 
Understand how the acquired company manages its business, where the synergy opportunities and areas for improvement lie
 
Manage the integration budget, track the synergies (purchasing, sales, overheads…) as well as integration costs (IT, logistics…)
 
Communicate goals and objectives to stakeholders across all levels in the organization, including senior executives and steering committee 
 
Understand the priorities, operating needs and responsibilities of the different work streams, and anticipate, plan and solve for cross‑functional interdependencies
 
Identify each acquisitions unique expertise that can be replicated and developed across the organization and contribute to the change management project

Requirements
      
You have at least 3 years’ experience in the execution of M&A transactions or M&A integrations

You can be based Brisbane or the Gold Coast
 
You possess superior analytical and problem solving skills
 
You are proactive and have the ability to handle multiple work streams with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems and with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
 
You have excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability liaise and create rapport with numerous stakeholders, from the sales teams to the head office teams, at every level.
 
You think big picture, with a sharp eye for detail
You are a hands on and pragmatic project manager
