About the Role:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for leading and coaching infrastructure maintenance contractors and fitters to ensure the seamless operation and sustainability of the production site. This role focuses on maintaining high safety and quality standards, driving sustainability initiatives, and managing contractor performance. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support site operations, optimise resource use, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and implement preventative and reactive maintenance plans.
- Support sustainability projects focused on waste reduction and energy conservation.
- Conduct regular safety and quality audits and take corrective actions as needed.
- Manage departmental budgets, controlling contractor spending and resource utilisation.
- Coordinate with utilities providers to optimise energy and resource use.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a similar role within maintenance or reliability, ideally within a food production environment.
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with managing budgets and developing maintenance plans.
