This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established chemical manufacturing business in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations across the site, lead a small team, and coordinate contractors on various equipment upgrades and improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all site maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and plant uptime
- Lead one direct report (Maintenance Fitter) and manage external contractors and service providers
- Plan and deliver preventative maintenance programs to minimise breakdowns
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and improvement plans for ageing assets
- Support and train operations teams on safe equipment use and maintenance best practices
- Trade qualified in Mechanical / Electrical discipline OR Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Strong working knowledge of low voltage and pneumatic control systems
- Proficient in ERP and maintenance systems (D365/SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
