There are four areas that you must have experience in. First is your knowledge at an operational and/or commercial level in transport, supply chain and logistics. You understand the levers, issues and pressures that drive transport operations and warehousing functions. Secondly you are a generous Manager and Leader. The ‘air traffic controller’ for your team you can manage pipelines, shape projects, share knowledge and give guidance to your less experienced team of analysts. Third, is stakeholder engagement. You can build relationships with your customers, ask the right questions, identify problems, and offer practical and valued solutions. Lastly you are a champion of change and you can influence outcomes so key transformational projects are embedded throughout the business.
