Role Overview A senior leadership position responsible for managing end-to-end logistics and supply planning across both international and domestic manufacturing networks. The role focuses on strategic planning, supplier partnerships and operational efficiency within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead logistics, demand planning and supply chain functions
- Manage global and local manufacturers (22 facilities – 12 based in Australia)
- Oversee imports from Europe
- Collaborate with international manufacturing partners (AU & US – WIP)
- Drive inventory optimisation, volume planning, customer service and forecasting
- Strengthen relationships with freight forwarders and logistics partners
- Utilise data and Excel to support S&OP and forecasting processes
- Support project delivery and lead change initiatives
- Identify cost-saving initiatives and support product expansion
- Gain exposure to cross-functional projects across the business
- Reports directly to GM and VP APAC
- Strong, supportive team environment with clear delegation
- Sales team presence across Australia and Japan
- Exposure to export and international freight operations
- Proven experience across logistics, demand planning and supply within industrial, chemicals, manufacturing or construction environments
- Strong background managing manufacturers and supplier relationships
- Strategic and relationship-driven rather than purely transactional
- Advanced Excel capability; S&OP experience advantageous
- MYOB experience beneficial
- Adaptable, commercially aware and confident communicator
- Comfortable operating in a seasonal, fast-paced environment
