With continued growth and success across the business, they are now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join their finance team. About the Role:
Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for a range of accounts functions with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable, debt collection, and invoicing. This role also includes support across Accounts Payable, procurement, and other ad hoc finance tasks.
Key duties will include:
- Processing and reconciling supplier invoices
• Data entry of invoices - Bank account reconciliations
• Debt collection and maintenance of the debtors ledger
• Investigating and resolving customer credit enquiries
• Issuing statements and raising credit requests
• Customer invoicing and weekly sales invoice processing
• Raising purchase orders and overseeing procurement approvals
• General accounts support and assistance with finance projects
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident communicator with solid experience in Accounts Receivable, and a proactive approach to debt collection and resolving billing disputes. You bring strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous AR experience
• Confidence in following up outstanding accounts via phone/email
• Ability to investigate charge discrepancies and resolve disputes
• Experience with supplier invoice processing
• Strong Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills
• High attention to detail and initiative
