Job Description:
  • End to end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis for 300+ employees
  • PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
  • Processing new starters and terminations
  • Additional tasks to assist the broader team
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions
  • Support month-end payroll processes

About You:
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar Payroll Officer role, with a solid understanding of payroll processes and related legislation. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, a reliable and professional attitude, and the ability to manage your time effectively in a busy environment. A strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive approach are essential, along with the confidence to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team. Your ability to build strong working relationships with internal staff will also be key to your success in this position. Experience using a large ERP system is highly regarded, and prior knowledge of Chris21 would be a distinct advantage.
