An exiting opportunity currently exists within this market-leading organization to fill a key role within their finance team. Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing service-based business and they are seeking an experienced standalone Payroll Manager/Accountant to join their friendly and collaborative team.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner (on a weekly basis), for a total of 300+ employees.
- Manages all group tax, BAS, Payroll Tax, STP, WComp
- Assist with HR operations including onboarding of employees
- Lead continuous improvement for Payroll function
- Ensure terminations are calculated properly + maintaining employee details, pay records, salary information
- Manage payroll process for new starters
- Reconciliations and tax calculations at EOM/Year end as required
- Provide business support, auditing and payroll consulting advice through rolling internal training and provide advice on identified areas of misunderstanding.
- First Point of contact for all payroll related questions
- Be involved in payroll system implementation / change - any experience with this will be advantageous.
