Our client is a large scale organisation who continue to expand their operations after a very successful period for the business. They are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll division in a role that sees you as part of a broader finance team. Responsibilities
The role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving:
- Developing, mentoring and leading a medium sized payroll team
- Overseeing the end to end processing of a large scale payroll
- Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals
- Provide ongoing training
- Ensure relevant Awards and legislation are interpreted as well as;
- Completion of other ad hoc payroll projects
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in full function Payroll processing having led a team
- Experience with SAP would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Proven process improvement initiatives
