Our client is a well-known transport network operating across Melbourne who are looking for a Payroll Officer to join the team due to company growth.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- End to end payroll for 3,000 employees
- Segregated by division so individually processing 400-600 employees
- Manual processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll
- Processing new starters, terminations, Masterfile changes, overtime, leave processing and report checking
- Interpretating awards and applying relevant policies
- Timesheet coding and data entry where required
- Assisting with Work Cover administration
- Answering payroll enquires
Candidate Profile
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- 2 years+ Payroll experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
