Our client is a well-known ASX listed Australian business employing over 3,700+ people across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Latin America who create world-class technology solutions to connect more people to relevant employment, education, small business, and volunteer opportunities. They are currently on the lookout for a Senior Payroll Consultant to join the team where you will be responsible to ensure the delivery of end-to-end payroll processes are delivered on time, accurately, are compliant, seamless, and efficient for all departments and that the business is delivering best payroll practices and services.
This role works with the HRC and Payroll Team, liaising closely with HR Coordinators, Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, Leaders, People Technology & Insights.
Responsibilities
- Experience with Preceda is essential
- Ensuring delivery of payrolls including data entry, processing, checking, delivery, accuracy and compliance
- Fortnightly and Monthly payroll for approx.1,500 employees across Australia and New Zealand
- Ensure all payroll processing, related information and records are maintained in accordance with policies as well as statutory requirements
- Manual calculations and reconciliations
- Responsible for ensuring EOM/EOY/other reporting & payroll activities
- Work with the HR Coordinators to ensure successful completion of workday integrations
- Maintaining pay records, employee records and files, leave records and related information
- Ensuring data accuracy within payroll and downstream/upstream systems
- Management of the Payroll inbox
- Reporting as required
Candidate Profile
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- 6 years+ end-to-end Payroll experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Be willing to work from the office 2 or 3 x days per week
