Our client is a well-known ASX listed Australian business employing over 3,700+ people across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Latin America who create world-class technology solutions to connect more people to relevant employment, education, small business, and volunteer opportunities.  They are currently on the lookout for a Senior Payroll Consultant to join the team where you will be responsible to ensure the delivery of end-to-end payroll processes are delivered on time, accurately, are compliant, seamless, and efficient for all departments and that the business is delivering best payroll practices and services.
  
Responsibilities 
  • Ensuring delivery of payrolls including data entry, processing, checking, delivery, accuracy and compliance
  • Fortnightly and Monthly payroll for approx.1,500 employees across Australia and New Zealand
  • Ensure all payroll processing, related information and records are maintained in accordance with policies as well as statutory requirements
  • Manual calculations and reconciliations
  • Responsible for ensuring EOM/EOY/other reporting & payroll activities
  • Work with the HR Coordinators to ensure successful completion of workday integrations
  • Maintaining pay records, employee records and files, leave records and related information
  • Ensuring data accuracy within payroll and downstream/upstream systems
  • Management of the Payroll inbox
  • Reporting as required
  
Candidate Profile
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
  • 4 years+ end-to-end Payroll experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Be willing to work from the office 2 or 3 x days per week
