The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 5, you will be responsible for:
- Responsibility for weekly payroll administration of approximately 4,000 employees
- Handling employee queries
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Assisting with processing of superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
- Assisting with process improvement across both the payroll and time and attendance systems
- Payroll reporting as well as;
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager
The successful applicant will have:
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
- Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors (EC/ECP) is highly regarded
- Service focused, with great attention to detail and high level analysis skills.
- A strong commitment to excellence in customer service and a hands-on approach to service provision
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as the ability to exercise independence and judgement where required
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
