Our Client:
This client is a respected organisation within the non-for-profit field, dedicated to client satisfaction and the well-being of our team. We are seeking a proactive Payroll Officer with iChris or Chris21 experience to join us on a short-term basis. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their payroll skills, take on new challenges, and help foster strong partnerships that contribute to our mission and growth.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working collaboratively amongst a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Accurately and timely processing of employee payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices
- Support month-end and year-end payroll processes
- Contribute to ongoing payroll process improvements
About You:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer with a demonstrated history of effectively managing payroll processing and ensuring precise and timely employee compensation. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining efficient payroll operations, resolving issues promptly, and contributing to a positive work environment. iChris or Chris21 system experience is essential. With a focus on delivering exceptional service and optimising payroll processes, this individual will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's overall success and operational efficiency. The ideal individual will have a reliable and positive attitude and have a keen eye for detail. You will have strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy finance environment.
