Position Description
This role is responsible for working in partnership with the Payroll Manager and team and your key duties will include:
- Partnering with the Payroll Manager to reimagine and improve payroll systems and processes
- Leading the processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll using Chris 21/iChris
- Providing advice on payroll compliance, awards, EBAs, and statutory obligations
- Analysing payroll data and providing insights to guide decision-making
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and best practice
The Successful Candidate
To be a success in this role you will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar payroll role, ideally with Chris 21/iChris in a healthcare or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of Australian Awards and EBAs
- Impeccable attention to detail and high accuracy
- Professional communication skills
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset and the confidence to drive change
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
