The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and working among a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
- End to end payroll processing split among the team for 5,000+ staff
- Process new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Ensure compliance interpreting various EBA’s and awards
- Calculation of PAYG, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation payments
- Process leave entitlements
- Provide accurate information in response to employee queries
- Additional tasks to assist the broader team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Payroll role, along with the following attributes:
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and juggle varying responsibilities
- A passion for payroll and keen desire to complete all tasks to a high standard
- Positive and bubbly personality
- Strong communication skills, from both a written and verbal perspective
- A keen eye for detail
- Prior experience using SAP (or a large ERP system) is highly advantageous
