The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and working among a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
  • End to end payroll processing split among the team for 5,000+ staff
  • Process new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Ensure compliance interpreting various EBA’s and awards
  • Calculation of PAYG, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation payments
  • Process leave entitlements 
  • Provide accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Additional tasks to assist the broader team
 
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Payroll role, along with the following attributes:
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and juggle varying responsibilities 
  • A passion for payroll and keen desire to complete all tasks to a high standard
  • Positive and bubbly personality
  • Strong communication skills, from both a written and verbal perspective
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Prior experience using SAP (or a large ERP system) is highly advantageous
