As a key member of the finance team, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce. Your accuracy, compliance knowledge, and ability to meet tight deadlines will ensure the employee groups are paid correctly and on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly basis
- Maintain accurate employee records and timesheets
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and company policies
- Process new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Manage payroll queries and provide timely resolutions
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits as needed
- Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes, however will not be limited to:
- Proven experience in a similar payroll position
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and awards
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management with a forward thinking mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to positive influence
