The Organisation

Our client is an outstanding Australian organisation who have gone through some exciting growth. They are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive payroll team in a team based part-time role. The role on offer is 3 days per week (0.6), and is based out of their Melbourne CBD office. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and switched on individual! 


The 
Responsibilities

The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to:
  • Running the payroll end to end for a medium sized payroll
  • Working alongside two others to process the payroll of 700 employees fortnightly 
  • Dealing with payroll queries or concerns 
  • Handling superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Working with EBA's and Awards
  • Assisting with other adhoc accounts duties  

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will posses the following attributes; however not exclusive to:
  • Has experience processing payroll end to end in a previous role
  • High attention to detail
  • SAP experience advantageous but not essential 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
