Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent part-time basis, with flexible hours and work from home abilities. With team fit a high priority, this is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join an exciting organisation in a rare permanent part-time position.
Position Description
Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- End to end payroll processing for 250+ employees
- Fortnightly payruns
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Calculating redundancies
- Interpreting numerous awards and EBAs
- Additional tasks to assist the broader team
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
- Ability to confidently work autonomously
- Motivated and can-do mindset
