The Organisation
Our client is a growing business in the trade industry based in Melbourne CBD who are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- End to End payroll processing
- Fortnightly pay run for 280+ Employees
- Dealing with differing EBA's and Awards
- Reporting at months ends
- Reconciling the payroll
- Provide support to the finance team when needed
- Payroll questions and queries
- Dealing with superannuation, payroll tax, workcover and PAYG
Candidate Profile
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- 2 years+ Payroll experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- Confident personality that enjoys working in a close knit team environment
- Strong relationship building skills
