This position is a vital management role overseeing a large team for a rapidly growing organisation in Melbourne's city fringe.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Payroll processing for approximately 9,000 employees
- Leadership and training of a large payroll team
- Interpret industry specific awards and EBA's
- Processing new starters and terminations
- Maintain administration of Chris 21 and ensure records are kept up to date
- Reconciliation of payroll accounts and reporting as required
- Previous experience in Payroll Supervision is essential
- Strong payroll processing experience is required
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
- Experience in interpreting awards and EBAs
- Sound analytical & problem solving skills
- Knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, superannuation & payroll tax legislation
- Chris 21 experience is highly advantageous
