About the Role
Our client is a leading and established Not-For-Profit organisation who support a diverse range of people of need. They are currently looking for a talented Payroll Support Officer to join their friendly and supportive team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Responding to payroll related enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the payroll help desk, triaging and allocating tasks
- Escalating any issues to the appropriate channels
- Assisting the wider payroll team with processing timesheets, ensuring all outstanding tasks are completed within the given time-frames
- General administrative duties as required as well as;
- Assisting the Group Payroll Manager and Payroll Staff with ad hoc tasks
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have prior experience working in a payroll support environment, as well as:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
- Understands payroll function and need for timely and accurate management of payroll queries
- A high attentional to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
