With a focus on innovation and growth, they are now seeking an motivated Payroll Team Leader to permanently join their team. This is an exciting role for anyone looking for their next challenge, to both lead a team and ensure the proficient functioning of the payroll function, whilst be involved in project / implementation work. 

Position Description:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll professional to join their team. Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, your daily tasks will include:
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate end to end processing of fortnightly payrolls
  • Effectively leading a payroll team, through coaching and development of team members to deliver best practice payroll services
  • Interpreting all relevant EBAs and awards
  • Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
  • Assisting the team to work together to achieve common goals to a high standard
  • Partnering with the leadership team to drive process improvements
  • Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
  • Working with the project team to assist with implementation work
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with reports, reconciliations and all payroll compliance duties

Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will have previous proven extensive payroll experience and ability to operate as an effective team leader. The role is suited to attract high calibre candidates, who are seeking future growth and development. They will also have the following attributes:
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Possess high level attention to detail coupled with analytical and numeracy skills
  • Energetic and positive can do attitude 
  • Well developed verbal & written communication skills
  • Desire to work collaboratively, and passion for payroll
  • SAP/SuccessFactors experience is highly advantageous for the role
