About the role:
This role will be suited to someone who is an experienced senior payroll professional who has experience working on payroll transition projects across large complex corporates. This role will not be leading a team, though it will suit someone who has experienced collaborating and leading payroll departments as it involves a lot of internal stakeholder management across multiple divisions of the business as they roll out the new payroll package.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing and distribution
- Uphold high customer service standards and protocols across the business
- Develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with team across the business
- Use your system experience to ensure staff are well trained and payroll systems are running at their best
- Identify process improvements and implement these changes using your strong system knowledge
- At least 5 years experience within a similar senior payroll position
- Strong background using large, Tier 1 payroll ERP systems
- Experience working in similar payroll transformation projects
- Experience motivating, training and developing a team
- A hands on and proactive attitude to support the payroll function
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
