Position Description:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Officer to join their team permanently (on either a full-time or part-time basis). Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, you will work in a medium sized team and complete the following duties;
- Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee timesheets
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Processing new starters and terminations
- Interpreting various EBA's and awards
- Respond to any employees queries
Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Self motivated and can work in a team and autonomously
- A go-getter attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to build relationships with internal staff members
- High level attention to detail and ability to problem solve
