About the Position
Reporting to the Group Manager Project Delivery, this key position will operate as a specialist within the Project Delivery Group to lead and manage the delivery of civil/municipal infrastructure projects and programs on behalf of the Group, providing centralised management and reporting of projects and activities within the Group's projects and work program, consistent with Council's Project and Program Management Framework.

The Program Manager assists the Group to manage the deliverables including resource levelling and strategic initiatives (procurement and forward planning).  The Program Manager will provide and maintain a framework for project delivery in respect to contract management, procurement, statutory approvals, safety compliance, communications, financial control, quality, scope, timeliness, reporting system, integration, commissioning and capitalisation.

The position interfaces with peers across other organisational groups to ensure smooth transition of future programs &projects through the life cycle for delivery. The role will maintain professional working relationships with customers and other key stakeholders in relation to the delivery of projects and will work closely with customers to resolve issues, negotiate fair outcomes and provide technical advice to non-technical customers.

About the Person
We are seeking an experienced civil/municipal infrastructure program/project manager who has significant project and contract management skills relating to infrastructure projects including the conceptualisation, development, implementation, commissioning and handover of multidisciplinary projects involving multiple stakeholders, within defined timelines and budget. You will also have high level program management skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise, accurate and complex documents, reports and presentations. You will bring experience within a Project Management Office coordinating a range of activities utilising a project management methodology and associated tool sets and managing teams.
