About the role
As a Quality Coordinator you will report to the QA Manager and will play a pivotal role in the improvement and development of quality management systems. You will work cross-functionally with all departments to ensure a seamless delivery of quality production and service, while adhering to regulatory requirements and promoting continuous improvement in quality processes.
To be successful in the position, you will need to develop relationships across the business to drive the quality culture initiatives, to educate and improve the systems which are working toward KPI’s or achieving compliance goals.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology
- Experience as a Quality Coordinator or similar within the food manufacturing industry (3-5 years)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Internal and external audit experience.
- Ability to implement HACCP, Food Safety, GMP and GFSI systems essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality issues
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure with limited supervision.
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to achieve results.
- Ability to be flexible as the business continues to transform and the role develops.
