We are seeking a dedicated QA Manager to join our team at a prestigious fashion retail company, known for its premium quality and stylish designs. With their offices based in Metro Melbourne this position is ideal for an immediately available candidate to be hired on a temporary basis.
About the role
As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance within their apparel division. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in the apparel industry and your commitment to quality will be critical in maintaining their reputation for excellence.
To be successful in this position a background in Quality Assurance is essential, preferably from the apparel, fashion, or materials space. You will be leading a team of QA professionals to ensure quality standards are met and ensuring continuous improvement across all divisions.
Skills and experience
- - Minimum 5 years’ experience within Quality Assurance.
- - Diploma or degree qualification in quality assurance, supply chain, logistics and/or relevant related discipline
- - Time management skills.
- - Experience working with apparel preferred.
- - Experience working with offshore suppliers and factories.
- - Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- - Development and management of quality systems and procedures
- - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- - Strong planning and organizational skills.
