Our client is a large, Australian primary healthcare provider that is looking for a Reconciliations Officer to join their finance team during a change management project. The role will report into the Financial Accountant and focuses on reconciliations and identifying discrepancies The contract is for an initial 4-6 week term but the ideal candidate would have the opportunity to extend
The responsibilities
As part of the accounts team you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Reconciling between practise software and the bank
- Investigating account discrepancies and rectifying
- Resolving account inquiries as quickly as possible.
- Collaborating with the project operational teams to identify issues
- Supporting the project team with ad-hoc requests
- At least 6 months experience in an accounts role with a focus on reconciliations.
- Hold a relevant university degree
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team
- Option to extend
