Contract Length: Due to this program and the timing between EOFY & the New FY this can only, at this time, be put forward as an initial 2 month contract. There is a HIGH possibility of extension for 1+ years due to massive program of work taking flight. 
 
Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues within the customized HR-Payroll module of SAP systems. This will involve close collaboration with Business Analysts and SAP Functional Consultants to ensure smooth operation. You will need to swiftly acquire HR/Payroll system knowledge to meet service delivery goals.


Specific duties for this role include:
  • Following service quality standards, health, and safety policies to ensure safe and high-quality work environments.
  • Identifying and fixing issues with SAP, including changing code and testing it to meet strict information system standards.
  • Training SAP users on any changes to functionality and procedures.
  • Documenting system setup, technical details, and procedures to comply with government policies and best practices.
  • Assessing SAP's effectiveness and suggesting improvements.
  • Providing expert advice on quality reviews and solution design changes.
  • Supporting payroll processes as needed.
Required experience: 
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP HR modules such as Organisational Management, Payroll (Australian-based system), HR to Fi/Co integration, CATS, and ESS/MSS.
  • Ability to formulate, document, and implement functional and technical specifications, including knowledge of current technical trends, system integrations, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Extensive experience in supporting and configuring large-scale HR SAP Solutions, including familiarity with SAP, Workbrain, and Finance/Controlling (Fi/Co) products.
  • Knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and award structures in Government.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and transfer knowledge to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP ECC6-EHP8 and a minimum of 10 years of overall ABAP experience is highly desirable.
