About the Role
This position is responsible for managing end-to-end financial activities across several privately held entities within the group. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong cashflow management, and compliant practices across all areas of accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Full-function AP/AR management
  • Monthly accounting processes including journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations and cost transfers
  • Tracking and reporting on property income and expenditure
  • BAS preparation and statutory compliance
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Assistance with external audit requirements
  • Supporting senior executives with construction and development reporting
  • Cashflow planning and ad hoc financial analysis
This is a broad, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to work closely with a highly engaged business owner and Finance leadership.

About You
You will bring:
  • CA/CPA qualification (or near completion)
  • A background in public practice and commercial experience within construction, real estate, or property
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience across financial and management accounting
  • High integrity and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation
  • Experience with MYOB or Xero (advantageous)
